Conserve 2 Preserve is a non-profit organization focused on spreading the importance on recycling and sustainability to everyone around the world.
"Environment is no one's property to destroy; it's everyone's responsibility to protect". This a quote that we stand by here at Conserve 2 Preserve. We believe that it's our responsibility to protect the environment just as much as it protects us.
Conserve 2 Preserve was founded in July of 2022 by friends Aditi, Anushka, and Saugandh. Wanting to make a change in the world, we set out to create an organization that would do just that. At first, we were puzzled as to what issue they would try to solve using their organization when there are so many issues going on in the world. We then decided to focus on the ongoing issue of sustainability and recycling, thus creating Conserve 2 Preserve. After creating multiple plans of action and going through two stages of rebranding, our organization was finally successful, gaining many volunteers and helping many around the world.
Statistics about water pollution and the awareness of it has shot up in the past few years, thanks to social media, and with it, its become increasingly apparent as to how deadly water pollution has become. It is estimated that around 3 million people a year alone die due to water pollution and if we continue to carry on the way we are, the results will be disastrous.
Cars have revolutionized the way we live and move around, providing us with a level of personal mobility that was unimaginable just a few decades ago. However, this convenience comes at a high cost that is detrimental to the environment. The manufacturing, disposal and use of these automobiles generates a significant amount of pollution and waste that gets trapped, contributing to climate change and other major environmental issues. However, there is a way in which we can combat the usage of cars: walkable cities.
Greenhouse Gases
Nowadays everywhere we see news about the greenhouse effect and how deadly it has become over the past years however one thing that most resources fail to comprehend is just how the greenhouse effect generates and how it is so deadly. Over the course of years, there is no doubt that the greenhouse effect has increased significantly. This can be seen in the melting ice cores caused by temperature rise which is another sign of the increase in greenhouse gasses, more forest fires, etc.
